THEOT: The Textual History of the Ethiopic Old Testament Project

The Textual History of the Ethiopic Old Testament Project  (THEOT) (Steve Delamarter, Garry Jost, Ralph Lee, Sam Aldridge, Albrecht ten Kate, Ulrich Schmid, Martin Heide, and via online conferencing Curt Niccum, Jeremy Brown) is hosted by the TraCES project (Alessandro Bausi, Eugenia Sokolinski, Cristina Vertan), 8 and 9 June 2015, Alsterterrasse 1, Room 128.

The topics covered in the workshop included problems in text editing of the Ethiopic Bible; digital humanities and Ethiopic scholarship; statistical approaches to text studies.

Besides THEOT project methodology and tools, the demonstration included the New Testament Virtual Manuscript Room maintained by the University of Muenster.
